Laptop processor
The processor, or CPU, is the brain of any computer – laptop, desktop, or otherwise. The particular processor you choose will likely be the most important determining factor in the performance you get From your laptop, as this translates into one logic relation: the faster the processor, the faster the laptop.

Choosing a processor brand is only the start of the battle. For every day tasks like checking email and using your word processor, a low-end processor will generally cope with your needs. However, the thing that makes these processors low end is the absence of advanced technology ment to boost mathematical processing and the more you intend to engage your laptop in any multimedia applications, the more you need to consider the high-end processor.
Both Intel and AMD have developed variations of their processors that they’ve each given an M designation. When you see the letter M used in conjunction with a laptop processor, it stands for mobile. These mobile processors have been engineered and fine-tuned for use in laptop computers. One of the benefits of this advanced engineering is extended battery charges. These processors are designed to draw less power than their non-M counterparts, meaning that each battery charge should last longer. If you expect to be a hardcore battery user, you should definitely consider a mobile processor.
Some laptops, notably ultraportables, use AMD's Athlon XP-M processor or Intel's ULV (ultra-low voltage) Pentium-M CPU, which also allow for improved battery life link goes topage F. and performance.
